Subject: Reminder on the Fidelio-end-of-Life per 31st of Dec 2011
Dear Fidelio customer,
The year end is nearing rapidly, and with that also the end-of-life of Fidelio PMS. Throughout the past few months our team has taken the time to contact you personally and explain what these changes entail. For good records, I would like to update you one last time:
As of 1st of January 2012:

Fidelio PMS software will continue to work !!

The Fidelio Helpdesk is still available through the Proffid Caribbean NV office !!

You can no longer request license changes anymore, that means no more changes in your roomcount, no more changes in interfaces, see below examples

Example 1 : I want to add or remove rooms from hotel : This would affect your Fidelio license, and is no longer possible ( removing can be done by placing the rooms out of order)

Example 2: I purchased a new Telephone system and I want it to work with Fidelio: This could affect your licenses, and it may not be possible, If your current license can hold the change, Proffid can surely assist, if it does not, interfacing will not be possible.

Calling Micros Inc. directly with Fidelio questions will no longer be possible as per their announcement letter.

Adding new ratecodes , roomtypes, employees, department codes etcetera will still be possible.
What are your options :

For all those customers that remain with Fidelio, Proffid has license codes expiring 3-FEB-2014. That will be the last day of Fidelio being operational, since Micros Inc will not issue licenses to Proffid past this date. Fidelio Helpdesk invoices remain in place, to ensure you will continue to receive support, and to remain eligeable for different migration options.

For those customers that will migrate their Property Management System in the 1st half year of 2012 , please indicate this before 30th of November 2011; our office normally sends out annual helpdesk invoices, we can than arrange for semi-annual invoices. Otherwise we will invoice a full year and require a full year's of payment by payment due date.

Customers migrating to a PMS other than IDPMS or PMPRO....well we would not like to see you go, however we hope your decision will be well informed. Remember to send/fax Proffid Caribbean NV a signed letter on letterhead paper, with the day you will cease using Fidelio PMS. This is required for Proffid to cancel your Fidelio with Micros Inc, for further invoices. Proffid will continue to support Fidelio till the end of the paid invoice period.

Customers migrating to IDPMS or PMPRO will continue to receive support for Fidelio PMS, even when it is only used for historical review purposes, till 3-FEB-2014. Helpdesk Fees will only be for IDPMS or PMPRO.

There are no changes with regards to any of the other products Proffid sells, supports and maintains. This memorandum is only for Fidelio for Windows Version 7 customers .
