Our choice to select Yellowdog as an additional Inventory solution is based on the fact of it's seamless integration to the Micros 3700 and 9700, and the helpfull team of Yellowdog software in case of questions and support.

Ease of Use:
If Micros is used in an retail environment, the Micros becomes a Sales system only. Your Retail staff manage their inventory and sales pricing, including barcoding entirely in the yellowdog inventory system. Especially retail has many dimensions ( e.g. a logo store sells T-shirts in S, M, L , XL, XXL, in colors red blue green and purple); that are 5 sizes* 4 colors ... 20 different inventory items, barcodes... Well using the matrix , this is a 2-4 minute setup...depending on the speed of your PC...
So within the hour, these 20 items, are synched in the micros, with barcodes ( this hour you will use to print the barcode labels, and label all items...), under the SLU and in the proper category for Micros Sales reporting (of which figures are also in Yellowdog...); ready to be sold.
Speed of Use:
Not taking into consideration the time needed to setup a solid inventory structure ( where Proffid will of course advise you), Training and Setup of Yellowdog, including integration to Micros, is less then 12 hours time, of which the user training takes up 4 hours..
