Hotel Concepts' Customer Web Interface is a highly functional tool which allows websites to communicate with the IDPMS & IDCRS database. Hotels and Hotel Chains that have made use of CWIv2 have not only used it to create powerful, high performance reservation pages on their website, but also implemented it to capture and maintain brochure requests, to maintain loyalty system memberships or to sell property and room amenities to guests who initially visited the site just to make a simple reservation.

Database knowledge

While third party booking engines may be able to show their allotment and post reservations and cancellations through an interface with the PMS, CWI can go much further, because it was developed by the very people who created the IDPMS and IDCRS. CWI has intimate knowledge of the IDPMS/IDCRS database and can therefore perform tasks such as on the fly packaging, even on the fly promotional discounts through the use of Extras. It can create Guest, Travel Agent and Company profiles exactly the way your hotel or central reservation staff does.

Because of its direct communication with the database, CWI can take advantage of the same yield management options the IDPMS and IDCRS applications use.  

Area Availability

In a multi-property or central reservation environment, CWI knows how properties relate to each other. Which properties share a close-by airport? Which properties have the same amenities or the same classification? Which properties are near other properties? With CWI you can allow your website visitors to shop any way they want, be it by proximity to configurable Points-of-Interest, by city, region, state, province or country. No other booking engine will be able to deal with the question “Show me all properties near my destination airport and their availability for the period that I plan to stay”.
